New Shopping Center

    I was checking out the Madison Retail Group site today and they are leasing a new center in our area, Arcola Center. It looks like it will be off Loudoun County Parkway, between Rte. 50 and Evergreen Mills. It already has space leased to Target and Lowes. It is going to be 1 million square feet in size. The brochure says that road infrastructure will begin in 2006 and the center is slated to open in 2008. Check out the site and download the PDF brochure. The location overview has been updated with a lot of the planned developments for the Rte. 50 corridor.

    ANOTHER TARGET???? In addition to the one going in off of LCP?

    Looks that way. I thought that area was initially slated for a Wal-Mart.

    There's a proposed Wal-Mart next to where there is a PROPOSED Target near Route 50. Neither has received approval at this point.
