The newest restaurant in Brambleton opened last week. It is called Nick's Corner Grill and is right across from the California Tortilla restaurant. Very nice atmosphere with three or four very large flat screens throughout the restaurant. Nice seating area and nice bar area. The entrees (quite varied) run from $12-$20 with sandwiches and burgers going for less than $10. Each entree comes with a salad and bread. Service was good and food was very good. Great place to watch the NCAA bball games as most tables have a great view of one of the TVs. The best part of all, it is totally non-smoking.

I personally didn't eat there, but some one I was with was eating and seemed to like it. As far as drinking goes, it was expensive and not very good. Also, as much as many people prefer not smoking, as soon as something opens up in that shopping center where you can smoke that place will have trouble.

Our family had lunch there a few weeks ago. I had a salad and it was only OK. The lettuce was average. My husband had a reuben and the sauerkraut was prepared totally wrong. It tasted vinegar like and that tells me it was not rinsed three times, boiled and reseasoned. I am german and part polish and know about this.

As I recall we weren't too excited by the restaurant. It was expensive and to boot, the service was only OK. Nothing special.

I had lunch there today with some friends and while I thought the atmosphere was nice, the food was so-so. I ordered the chicken souvlaki and a side salad. The salad was cold and fresh - iceberg lettuce, though - with cukes, green pepper and tomatoes. The chicken in the souvlaki was good, and it was very fresh, but it didn't come with any tzatziki sauce.

I would go back for lunch and try something else - burger, maybe. (FTR, I think that no chicken souvlaki compares with George's at Countryside Cafe. Been going there since it opened and George's daughter, who graduated with my son, was just a baby.):)
