No more swiss at Subway

    Say it ain't so, Vince!!

    Apparently, Subway is no longer carrying Swiss cheese - instead, you can get Pepper Jack. It seems like swiss cheese is one of their most expensive cheese items, so I guess this is a sign of the times.

    I hate to say it, but although I'm not a big fan of Quiznos, I wonder if they still offer Swiss cheese?

    Swiss is the most expensive cheese out of all the ones we carry. As a market, swiss is the slowest seller and we constatntly have requests for pepper jack. You will not find swiss in any Subways in our area. Sorry.

    I guess I am typical as this comes as a pleasant surprise to me. I rarely get Swiss and will almost certainly always get pepper jack now. Was this recent as I've gotten a couple subs in the last week and didn't notice the change in options?

    I though it was provolone that they dumped for the pepperjack?
