Can I add that many folks have also forgotten what the big red octogon that has the letters STOP on it means !!!! I constantly see peopl,e run the stop signs on Vestals Gap. I blow my horn and they look at me like I am crazy.

Does this qualify as a criminal offense ? If so, I would be glad to identify these drivers to the police. I was also under the impression that the police had to witness the offense. I have comtemplated on several occasions of taking a nice digital picture of the offenders.

All of these issues (speeding, passing, running stop signs) provides an unsafe enviroment for everyone - especially our children.

Reckless Driving = Class 1 Misdemeanor = Criminal offense. You can go to the Magistrate and fill out a complaint. The Magistrate will decide whether to issue the warrant.

A few years ago we were down in the gravel parking area by the Reservoir and a teenager in a Camaro drove down and decided to do donuts right next to our car. Kicked up a ton of gravel everywhere. We contacted the LCSO, they basically found the teenager and scared the you-know-what out of him so we decided not to take any action. We could have, though, through the Magistrate.

We're walkers and I could nail quite a few people going thru stop signs on a daily basis. It's one of my pet peeves. Not a very good example if you have kids in the car.

You know, I joked about the stop sign thingy b4, b/c I must admit going ~3-5 MPH thru them.
HOWEVER, I have seen so many folks buzzing thru at like 15-20 MPH, I would like to retract my previous flippant attitude!
