Need Advice old topic - dentist recommendations!

it's been a while since dentists have been brought up...i need to get a cavity filled and despise the dentist so i'm looking for someone extremely gentle!

i saw today's living social deal is for dr. rizvi at ashburn dental care. has anyone been to him? i have heard good things about dr. rios over in ashburn commons.

I really like Bloo Dental in brambleton.

 

Virginia Dental Solutions - Drs. Novick, Hartz, and Hall. Their website is http://www.novickhartzhall.com/ and they're located over by IHOP. They're efficient, patient, and truly care about your needs. They were awesome about filling a cavity I had. I was extremely nervous about the needle aspect so they said they could try and fill it without numbing first (it was a shallow cavity). We were able to do it (it didn't hurt at all). My first cavity did require numbing and they were extremely patient with me and talked me through the entire procedure while they were doing it. I've been going to them for 10+ years and I've had the same hygenist EVERY time.

No one specific. They all have been great to work with. Really. I've seen them all for after-hygenist checkups (when the dentist comes in after the cleaning).
