Openband rates being increased!

Please excuse the delay in sending this message out so late I had technical difficulties with my computer earlier today. The following message is a copy of a message sent to those for whom we had on file as requesting information while attending the Southern Walk Technology Advisory Committee (Openband Action Committee) We hope you can join us this evening!!! "We have a significant issue at our door step. The prices are not pretty. The next SW HOA meeting is the 19th of this month. At that meeting the new prices will be presented and I believe decided on. I am asking for a meeting to take place TODAY - 6:30 pm at Eagle Ridge Middle School (across from the Circle K gas station on WaxPool), before the Developers Update meeting which starts at 7 PM. If we need to we can continue the meeting after the Developers Update.

I need to do some research today before I provide details on the new prices. I want to make sure I have all my facts straight before providing any detailed information. I will share my findings at the meeting this evening."

We have a significant issue at our door step, OpenBand is proposing to raise your rates by almost $14 for the 2005 fiscal year. There is an HOA meeting scheduled for October 19th where these new rates will be voted on unless the community joins together to defeat this proposal.

Proposed Increases:
Telephone TV Internet
2004 $17.81 $48.74 $64.95
2005 $18.56 $58.19 $68.20
Increase 4% 19.3% 5%
Note: these prices do not include taxes and other charges

Join Scott and many others at the Nature Center on October 14th at 6:30 PM were we will discuss our contractual rights and what we can do to ensure OpenBand isn’t allowed to continue overcharging Southern Walk residents.
It will get harder and harder to control these rates if we don’t stop them now !!

 

ADMINS - Can we please shut down all but one of these? It's not necessary to have it in each forum! Everytime I check active topics, anything new will pop up so I don't think having it in multiple locations is really that beneficial? It's just annoying to see the same thing in 4 different places.
