    Hi,

We recently bought a previously owned Washington Home. We came across a situation where we had to paint a small patch in our house. Unfortunately there is no left over of that paint color in the house. Was thinking if any of you own a Washington Home, you may be able to provide me the information of Paint Brand and Paint Color used by the builder. The paint color to my eyes looks white.

    Thank You Very Much.

Take a chip to a paint store and they can match it for you.

We have a Washington home. The builder only painted the walls with a cheap white paint, almost like a primer but not as good. They told us that they expect the homeowner to supply the final coat(s) of paint.

If your house is still painted in builder's white, then go to Home Depot or Lowes and explain the situation and they should be able to find an equivalent. If the previous owner painted the walls white, then you'll just have to bring in a chip and hope the paint folks can match it.

Depending on when you bought the house- ours was built in 99. Wash Homes used Shell White by Duron. It is not a primer-it is actually paint- although it is cheap builders grade paint. We used shell white semi gloss for our trim to touch up places and had no problem matching colors. Good luck.
