HOA Question Painting our front door

So, front door could use some love and new paint. Do I need to paint it the exact same color? Can I paint it a color that is the same as some of the other houses in my neighborhood but that is different from what it is now?

We live in Southern walk in a Miller and Smith townhome near the pool.

Currently the door is this blue/green color. I don't much care for the color but just want it to look fresh and want to be sure we play by the rules. Thanks!

Yes you will need to put in an application for the color change (I've been a member of the Modifications Subcommittee since 2005) and you can select another color as long as it is consistent with the colors on your "row" of townhomes.
