    Job Description:

    The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting Watkins Sinclair’s leadership team across a wide range of business functions including internal/external communications, administrative oversight of projects, assisting with monthly accounting processes, and other general tasks as needed. The Executive Assistant will report directly to the Watkins Sinclair Partner responsible for firm operations and account management.

    This is a unique opportunity for a business professional looking to develop management skills and be part of a fast growing company while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

    The role will require approximately 16-20 hours per week on-site at Watkins Sinclair’s office in the Herndon, VA area. After an initial training period, some work may be performed virtually from home.

    Initial compensation is approximately $30/hour with potential to transition to broader responsibilities or eventual full-time employment.

    Detailed Requirements for Applicant:

    Applicant must be proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. Strong written and verbal communication skills, decision making ability, and attention to detail are a must. Applicant should have experience working in a management consulting and/or Government contracting company. In addition, the applicant must possess the following:

    • 4 Year Degree
    • US Citizenship
    • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and Outlook
    • Knowledge of Quickbooks (not required but preferred)
    Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:



    • Schedule and support internal sales, planning, and communication meetings
    • Assist with the development of newsletters and promotional materials, manage website content, and update social media tools
    • Set-up new projects for tracking, perform quality control on deliverables, and monitor project budgets
    • Support onboarding of new consultants and educate them on firm policies and procedures
    • Assist with monthly accounting and financial management processes, including invoice preparation, reconciliations, and disbursements using Quickbooks
    • Provide production support for the creation of proposals and client presentations
    • Document and create instructional training for operational processes and procedures
