I work part-time from home and need a sitter to watch my 1 year old while I work. My 5 yr old will be in school except on vacation days.

    Details:
Seeking an energetic, bright, English-speaking and engaging person to care for our 1 yr old son in our home 4 days a week from 8:00-12:30pm. This person should have experience caring for babies, have a clean record (w/ transportation), have strong recommendations, and be neat. (CPR certified a plus).
    • Person would be responsible for getting him dressed for the day, feeding him, changing him and playing with him.
I would ideally like the candidate to do some light kid-centered housework. This may include:
    o Washing kids' dishes daily
o Folding kids' laundry and putting it away in rooms
o Cleaning up toys – making sure they are kept clean and neat

    Call me if interested! 703-863-0192

I used Nanny Poppinz to find my nanny. It's a referral service and they sent me 3 good candidates to choose from - I had a clear winner (based on my daughter's feedback as a deciding factor) but they were all really good prospects. They do charge a referral fee so be prepared for that, but it was very fast and a successful result for me.
