I am posting this excerpt from my Woofies newsletter- always anxious to see pets get homes!

Please go to www.woofies.com for contact information to make these dogs a part of your family! (I didn't want to post personal email addresses/phone numbers here.) Again this is as a loyal customer and nothing else. :)

A long-time Woofie’s client, Baby, desperately needs to find a new home. Her owner has changed jobs and due to his travel schedule, is not able to give her the time and attention that she deserves. We’ve taken care of her for several years now and she is a super sweet dog. Baby is a six-year-old female pit bull that was rescued as a puppy. She has rusty-brown fur and currently weighs about 70 pounds. She is very good with people; however, she has never lived with children. She is very affectionate, loves attention and loves to cuddle. Baby is an indoor dog; she has been spayed and chipped in case she gets lost.

A contact of ours needs to find a home for her wonderful mini wire male named Chase age 3. He is red and very, very loving and playful. She also has a red mini girl age 3, Scarlett and a couple of gorgeous red standard females (one was even housebroken for about 6 months) all crate trained, leash broken and exceptional dogs. Available to homes that kind and loving and will invest time in getting them used to being a house dog. No Charge. Just the commitment.

A three year old Cocker Spaniel is in need of a safe home. He’s well trained and very obedient. The owner died and her niece is trying to find him a home. She is begging for help because she doesn’t want him to go to the shelter and into a kennel. She wants to keep him but her kids are allergic to him. Pls contact Sabina Poinelli Rescue Coordinator Caring Hearts Rescue at www.caringheartsrescue.org.

Another adoptable dog below... I wish I was ready to take in a second pooch! :( someday...

    Dear group-
A friend of mine sent me the information of a cute beagle who is having a very hard time finding a new home. She wanted to adopt him herself but it was not a good match and she therefore wisely decided to decline. He is super cute but if you only live in a 2-room apartment it is not a good idea to get a second dog. If you know someone who is looking for a quiet (no howling!) super-sweet beagle to add to the family, please refer them to Loudoun County Animal Care and Control (703) 777-0406 and ask for Chappel. More info below and on http://www.petharbor.com
