plugs for pests

    I was told that you can buy these plugs that plug into your wall to control spiders, ants, etc from coming into the house. Some people swear by these. I would like to know if anyone here has used them and if so where did you get them?

    We've bought two different brands -- and both sucked. They didn't work that well. Plus, they make an annoying clicking noise.

    that is good to know. Too bad it did not work, because we have some pretty grossly large hairy spiders in our basement that I would love to be rid of.
