One of my co-workers is looking to buy his first home. Someone told him that he could by a single-family home in the Broadlands for $320,000. Since the townhomes in my section of the Broadlands are going for close to that price, I find this hard to believe.

Does anyone know what the price ranges are for the new single family houses?

    Thanks!

2 of the series (Villa and Executive) in the Southern Walk section "start" in the mid-300's, but we all know you don't buy them as is (carpet upgrades, tile, etc.) so I'd be surprised if someone could buy new for less than $350 since the prices keep going up. (ie: It lists Classic collection as starting in the mid $400's, but I think the cheapest one now starts at $475 or 480+) You can find vague price info at: http://128.121.207.112/pages/communities/broadlands/broad_southwalk/welcome_broad_sf.html

I think some of the homes in the Overland Park section are in that price range.

I believe the Van Metre's in Overland Park are sold out. There are some attached Washington Homes still for sale.
