quick question to hill side families

    Can anyone tell me if there is a snack break for 1st grade kids? I know there is a lunch break. Not sure about snack break/time. Just trying to prepare for next week. A friend of mine said her child has snack break too in fairfax county schools.

    They didn't have it last year. My son had lunch at 12.

    Each class is different but I do not remember any of the 1st grade classes having snack for either of my kids. That would be a good thing to ask at the meet the teacher on Friday or to email if you can not make it.

    I believe it depends on when the class is scheduled to have lunch; if it's a late lunch they do have a snack break. You should be able to find this out Friday; if not then you'll know on Tuesday! Mine had snack breaks in 3rd and 4th but not in K-2.
