Raising money for pediatric cancer - Thon '14

Every year, Penn State students raise millions of dollars for pediatric cancer patients, families and research. Last year, they raised over 12 million dollars. Part of their fundraising efforts include three "canning" weekends - where students find appropriate street corners, stand outside and collect money. They spend long hours collecting donations and appreciate every cent that's given. This weekend (both Sat and Sun), my son and other Penn State students have come to Ashburn to raise money. Please consider donating any money or loose change that you can. They will be at the Brambleton Town Center near the movie theater. If you happen to be outside of Ashburn running errands, they are also at the corner of McLearen and Centreville Rd. These are great kids working hard to make a difference.
