We tried to get our weed wacker to start for the first time this season, but we're not having very good luck :redmad: Has anyone used a service place that can be recommended? Thank you!

Jamie's Small Engine Repair in Lucketts...BUT consider this: If the item is under warranty or is high quality, like a Stihl, have it repaired. Otherwise it's probably better to buy new if the problem is complex.

Gas, I presume? Have you checked out the spark plug perhaps if its a gas one? Maybe that could be the problem? Worth a shot to check that out?

The issue may be that we left gas (& oil mixture) in the WW over the winter?? Or, as you mentioned, it may be a spark plug. We'll try the spark plug before taking it in.

Thanks for the recommendation for Jamie's. You're the 2nd person who has given me their name.

if you left the gas in all year... it is a simple fix 1)draing the gas 2)change the spark plug
I am no pro but am pretty sure this will take you 15 minutes and will work

just an FYI, you may want to just put a touch of good new gas on the existing spark plug tip and see if that alone works for you
