I'm trying to find a restaurant for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal is in Herndon (intersection of Franklin Farm and Fairfax County Parkway). I'm looking for a restaurant that has a private room available. I'm willing to come back to Ashburn, Cascades, Dulles...and Herndon and Reston as well. Leesburg would be too far.

Does anyone know of a decent restaurant that has private rooms available?

    Thanks!

That's Amore & Pacific in Sterling. I guess it would also depend on the number of people you are having

That's funny- my sister had hers at That's Amore 7 years ago. No complaints at all-- just not sure I want to do that same place as her. But it's one of the only places I could come up with too.

    Thanks!

    Approx. 26-30 people.

I would avoid That's Amore, had an issue with them for our rehersal dinner. However, I have gone to Pacific for several other functions including 1 wedding reception and office functions. Absolutly fabulous

You said Reston was okay...how about Mortons? It doesn't get much better than that.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Does anyone know if Clyde's in Ashburn will have a private room?

I wonder if Sweetwater would let us "reserve" the enclosed patio section by the water. Rehearsal dinner is in January.

Morton's is definitely nice, but just too painful on the wallet.

It is my understanding that Clyde's is intended to be "the place" for functions in Ashburn. I'd imagine they will have a variety of available configurations it this is to be the case...

We had our dinner at the Ice House Cafe in Old Town Herndon - we were very pleased with the service and attention to detail. When we inquired with "chain restaurants" we did not feel as if they would add the personal touch.

We actually looked at Dominion Brewery as an option (other choices were That's Amore and Tuscarora in Leesburg - ended up at Tuskies). Obviously very casual, but depends on what you are looking for. They have the room in the back that is semi-private (we talked about getting some sort of screen to truly separate us). They do buffet style.

It was a good option for us since we looooove the beer, but obviously it is lacking some ambiance.
