Should I call V-Dot about cleaning up road kill? I saw that a deer hasn't been cleaned up since Sunday (on Wynridge). It is pretty gross.(& a little sad)

Actually pass it on to Wes Schroeder at the HOA, who'll contact the appropriate person at VM. That road has not been turned over to VDOT, so they have no jurisdiction.

Not to worry, most of the deer has been devoured by various large birds. It appeared to be slim pickens this morning. Nature took care of the road kill. [xx(]

We were wondering who to call too. The freaky part was this morning by the time we drove by, the road kill had moved from the road to well into the grassy area beside it. Did the birds pick it up and drag it over there? Ewww...

On Loudoun County Parkway in front of Loudoun Valley Estates there were two deer killed in the same spot (one on each side of the road heading East) that are still lying there. County employees (police, fire & rescue, etc.) drive down this road all of the time and it usually takes at least a week for a dead deer to be removed from the road.

Speaking of coyotes...one was spotted in Brambleton near where the new town center will be located. Agree about the vultures.

I hate to say it but I've seen dead deer sit by the side of Loudoun County Parkway sometimes for weeks or months.
