Deciding on dinner outside da hood tonite -- but not too far outside. We've eaten everywhere in Ashburn/Sterling/Leesburg that interests us, so we move outward. These two pop up, and so do many places in Tyson's, but we are saving Tyson's for a rainy day. Votes and thoughts as to these two places only?

If you are going to Herndon "Russia House" I would recomend "Euro Bistro". I believe it is a better value for your dollar. Chef Raymund never fails.

I second that. Euro Bistro is excellent and is a great deal.

We ate at Russia House: Atmosphere was a bit formal and yet intimate and nice. Loosened up with some great Vodka's and a decent wine list. Old gentleman playing upbeat violin rifts was a nice touch. Many servers had Russian accents. I felt like I was living a James Bond movie for some reason with the whole scene. Menu was diverse and expansive, and our meals were excellent. The Chateaubriand for two looked outstanding, and many tables were ordering it. The place was packed, and service was slow, but we were in no rush. If you are up for something a little different I would say it is worth the trip. They have posted their menu and pricing online if you google them.
