I will be hosting a community meeting on public school issues for Ashburn area residents on Thursday evening, February 15th, at 7:00 p.m. at the School Administration Building in Broadlands. The meeting will be to update area citizens on some recent and upcoming matters affecting Loudoun County Public Schools and public education in the Dulles District, and to receive your feedback and answer your questions. Topics to be covered will obviously include all the “B’s” that tend to concern parents the most – buildings (new school construction), boundaries, books (curricula), budgets and bus stops – and any other school-related issues residents want to discuss. I will also cover a few matters affecting individual schools, including those serving the Broadlands area. (I will be there early and stay around afterward to meet with any parents wishing to privately discuss specific matters involving their own individual child or children.)

If you have specific topics besides those mentioned above that you would like me to be prepared to address, please email me at rfdupree@aol.com. Also, please share this meeting information with any other interested residents in our area. I look forward to seeing you on the 15th.

    Robert
