Senior Network Engineer in Washington, DC

G&B Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a Sr. Network Engineer in Washington, DC.


1. Provides technical lead for designing, developing, and deploying a fault and performance network management system that provides the required trouble isolation and identification required for the applications.
2. Provides leadership to identify deficiencies in existing Network Management platforms and proposes solutions that mediate these problems
3. Provides leadership for customizations to existing Network Management im-plementations to reduce the interval from identification of a fault to problem resolution.
4. Provides leadership for integration of multiple vendor products into a seam-less operation for a Network Operations Center (NOC).


Qualifications Required
A Doctorate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent and 5 years experience in Network Management is required. A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Sys-tems or equivalent and 7 years of network management work A Bachelor's De-gree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent and nine (9) years of network management experience is an equiva-lent substitution for this requirement. The certification of Cisco Certified Net-work Professional (CCNP) (or equal) may be substituted for up to two (2) years of network management experience. The certification of Cisco Certified Inter-network Expert (CCIE) (or equal) may be substituted for up to three (3) years of network management experience.
