We had dinner there this weekend, and the dishes were excellent and the hosts were attentive. We can highly recommend it. The appetizers were especially amazing.

It's at the end of the main street in the new Lansdowne Town Center.

It's Afghan -- I am excited to try it out...once we find a babysitter!

pamD is right. It's Afghan (we had never had Afghan until we ate there this weekend). There's nothing crazy or weird on the menu, though. The food is tasty and well-prepared.

Curious how "traditional" they are. is there floor seating? Did you eat with your hands or with utensils?

T8erman, I don't know enough about Afghan food to answer whether it is traditional or not. However, there were chairs, tables and utensils. We did not eat on the floor or with our hands.

Didn't think the whole restaurant would be "traditional". Just wouldn't work in the States. :D
Was just wondering if there was a separate place set aside for eating on the floor (a thick padded carpet was the preference in Kuwait).
