Did anyone else have their window open last night and hear, what appeared to be a SAW running at 3:00 this morning?? When my wife said something, i was like, oh it's probably construction at Taco Bell, since i knew they were framing it when i saw it yesterday. her response was classic----"AT 3:00 IN THE MORNING????". hadn't thought about that. :) We probably wouldn't have heard it if our daughter hadn't woken us up for playtime, but it was kind of obnoxious...i had to close my window.

get used to the late night noise at taco bell...a great haven for teens who can get their munchy fix at 1 am for under $2!

For teens? I think there are plenty of us "non-teens" who've made late night trips to TB.

I stand corrected about "the always delicious Taco Bell."

I'm not sure anything tastes better than a crunchwrap supreme at 2am.

If you live near SW plaza, I guess you will have to get used to noise at night ... HT open 24 hours ... Taco Bell open late ....

Does anyone know if Walgreens is going to be open for 24 hours or have a 24 hour pharmacy?

Harris Teeter is going to be open 24 hours? I didn't know that. I'd hate to live by that!

It is not like alot of people will be going the HT at 0'dark hundred in the morning. And the entrance is the farthest point in the mall from any homes.

I truly doubt that HT will cause any issues at all.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but the reason I wouldn't want a taco bell nearby is the trash (noticed a lot when the wendy's opened) and people hanging out in the parking lot late at night getting their cheap munchie fix (unless they don't do those things anymore, I could be dating myself!)...

I agree. The traffic might not be too bad, but I think the light from the store would be pretty instense.

FWIW ... the Walgreens on Rt 50, at the Van Metre development there (forgot the name) is open from 8 am to 10 pm, Mon thru Sun. However, with the population density of Ashburn, it may stay open 24 hours as it will probably have the business.

The relatively new local Walgreens here in Baldwin/Whitehall, a suburb of Pittsburgh is 24 hours, with the pharmacy open 24 hours. It comes in real handy when you realize that you forgot to refill something and you need it for the next day.

The street lights, if ever turned on, throughout SW will certainly casue more consternation than the lights from the mall.

I think some of you are blowing the 24 business strategy of Harris Teeter out of proportion. It is a great thing for families with small children. Run out of Simliac at 2 am..no problem, need to get some tums or diapers or whatever...no problem. I dont think that the majority of the people that go to a grocery store at o dark thirty are racous and loud.

That's because we haven't yet discussed the fact that all of the noise and light pollution at SW is really caused by this administration.
