Just tried out Sports Clips -- atmosphere was great, HOWEVER, haircut left a lot to be desired. Michelle didn't take requests very pleasantly. After 5 iterations, left the shop with a significantly bad haircut; bad enough for my wife to have to fix it. E-mailed Sport Clips and the president replied the same day, but didn't attempt to rectify the situation. Two other barbers in the shop seemed more competent, but I don't intend to risk it again.

won't go there, they had a 30 minute wait one evening with about 12 people there before me and 4 barbers. While I was waiting, 2 of the 4 "barbers" were sent home becasue "it was past thier shift". That then increased my wait time to 90 minutes. I didn't stay. I think I will just keep going to the other barber in the same shopping center. they ususally have the news on.

IMO, Broadlands Barber Shop is better. Our neighbor was at Broadlands Barber recently and three people came in to get their hair fixed -- those three people had just been at Sports Clips.

I like Broadlands Barber thats next to the ABC store. I've been to almost every barber shop in Ashburn. I used to like the folks in the same shopping area as the Wing Factor off Church road. But now I like Broadlands Barber. I haven't tried the one off of Ashburn Rd yet. Missed the guys at my old place in Mount Vernon. 3 old guys in a tiny little shop talking about sports.

Ron at SportClips did a great job on my hair. You could ask for him next time...

FYI - I used to go to the barbershop next to the ABC store. They did a good job for a decent price. However, on my last visit I noticed they were not sanitizing the combs between clients. The woman cutting hair had all the combs lined up on a towel and kept using them over and over on different people without putting them into the blue sanitizing solution. Needless to say I left and haven't been back since.
Don't need no lice on my head!

Got my hair cut at Sports Clips today. It worked out great. I used the $6.95 coupon from the back of my Safeway receipt, Ron did a great job with my hair (and he's a U of Mich fan), and I learned all about NFL European football!
