Squeaky doors - best fix(es)?

If you have a tried-and-true solution for squeaky interior doors, please share! I know there are lots of opinions out there, and I'm tired of all the squeaking going on in my house. Is WD40 the best trick?

 

Ah, water displacement #40. If it's good enough to protect the ole atlas missle parts, it's good enough for your doors.

yes, WD-40 is your friend when it comes to squeeks

 

WD-40 is good...but silicone based lubricants will work longer. Check an auto parts store.

 

I use White lithium Grease
