I'm looking for recommendations for someone to come and grind five stumps out of my yard. Has anyone had this done around here? (I already checked the 'search' feature-this has not been covered in a previous topic).

We don't normally allow the removal of trees (unless they are totally dead) of a size that would leave stumps. Were these left by the developer ??

If nothing else, I'd check the Yellow Pages.

I am in Ashburn Farm, not the Broadlands (yes, similar HOA guidelines when it comes to trees). I have a 3/4 acre, almost fully wooded lot, and have had some trees come down (2 were termite infested/ damaged-I already had the treatment to prevent future outbreaks). I have a tree person I use from WV for removal, but didn't want to have to call him to come all the way down for a few stumps...
