Meet Blossom - a 3ish year old hound mix also known as the sweetest most gentle and easygoing dog possibly ever.

Blossom is our foster dog through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. She enjoys walks, naps, and as much love and affection as you can spare. She knows sit, shake and is housetrained. Blossom loves dogs (especially small dogs), cats, and people of all ages including children. We have two small children and she is fantastic with them.

Blossom weighs about 50lbs and is of medium size. She has short hair and is a mix of shades of brown with black and white. The vet has estimated that she is around 3 years old based on her physical condition/teeth.

Blossom did not have the best start at life and is now both ready for, and deserving of, a home to call her own. She is loving and affectionate and would make an amazing new addition to a loving home.

You can view Blossom’s profile here on her petfinder page: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/22199913

Additional photos of Blossom are available here:

Blossom’s adoption fee is $275, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee includes spay/neuter.

    Also worth mentioning:
From now until August 31st, if you adopt a Hound through Homeward Trails, you will not only get a wonderful, loving family member, you will also get:
    - FREE professional photo session of your new dog ($110 value!) from Wags and Whiskers Pet Photography! Just pay for prints. Please visit Wags and Whiskers website to view the photo gallery: http://www.wagsandwhiskersphoto.com/

I should also mention that Blossom is not a barker. Our last two dogs were barkers and it is so refreshing to have a dog who is softspoken :)

We are seriously interested in Blossom. We know our two cats don't mind a dog. I'll let you know what we decide.

Blossom is awesome (this dog has my poor husband craving that gross onion concoction called the Awesome Blossom) - happy to meet up with anyone who wants to meet her. She is SO SWEET and has so much love to give. Her Petfinder photos make her look 400 years old :)

Just wanted to mention that Blossom is still available and looking for a good home- There has been some interest expressed in her but they weren't ready quite just yet.
    :)
Also wanted to mention again how great she is with our two small kids - she's affectionate, sweet and patient. She's housebroken and does not use a crate. She's a really easy dog with a lot of love to give.

    :)
