Duties: Perform all aspects of Windows 2008 Server installation, consolidation, maintenance on a large-scale local/wide area network. Manages network performance and maintains security. Executes test procedures to assess systems performance, identify and troubleshoot difficult or unusual problems, and analyze results for the implementation of system upgrades. Assumes a technical leadership or supervisory role as required. Monitors server resource allocation/utilization and performs capacity planning. Maintains expertise with, and advises management on, current technologies.

Consolidate Windows servers runing Exchange, SMS, and other enterprise software applications.
Qualifications Required
Additional Qualifications: 1) At least three years experience in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer network, including two years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.

2) At least three years experience in a large organization responsible for deploying computer system applications in a client/server network environment.

3) Thorough knowledge of computer network telecommunications, Windows Server operating systems, and the TCP/IP protocol.

4) Thorough knowledge of network management protocols and related standard tools.

5) Thorough knowledge of network-based application software to include Exchange, SMS and VMWare.

6) Thorough knowledge of telecommunications, network, and computer security issues and established security practices.
