    Hi all,

We've had a contract with Better Termite and Pest for our termite warranty. It's up for renewal and I was wondering who you all use, and recommend for this.

We have a seperate contract with Orkin for pests, etc. that we're getting ready to cancel as well. So any feedback on that would be appreciated too!

    Thanks!

Nope. It's $150/year and we were just curious who everyone else uses.

Yeah, they've never come out for us unless we've called them.

We've never had to have any additional termite treatments. We just renew the 'insurance' with the pretreatment contractor. They used Dursban as the pretreatment, and its got a 8 to 10 year life. In 2 or 3 years, I'll have a company that uses the bait stations come out and ring the house to see if there are any active nests, then we'll put out the growth inhibitor blocks to kill off the nest at that time.
