Toy Drive?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but I was wondering if the toy drive is still going on? I thought there was a place at the Nature Center to donate, but when I went by today I didn't see one. I dropped off my coats in the bin for the coat drive, but didn't see one for toys. I probably missed it, but can somebody help me out with info about this? Thanks in advance....

 

The folks who do the Visit with Santa usually will drop the boxes off the Friday that Santa comes to the Nature Center, this year on the 5th. However just ask whoever is at the front desk and we will hold on to them until the boxes get here. Sorry you made the trip without dropping the toys off.

 

Thanks for the information! It really is no trouble for me to get to the Nature Center, so no harm done. I actually added to my "give-away" stash, so it's a good thing I didn't drop off the items earlier.

 

Is the toy drive at the nature center still going on?

 

Sorry the drive ended on the 12th. The Fire Dept may still be taking toys though.

 

I called the Ashburn Fire Dept and they told me last Friday was their deadline. You can look at the Toys for Tots website for other Ashburn drop offs (I think today is the deadline for some). We dropped a bunch off at the Reston Fire Dept on Saturday.

 

There's a Toys for Tots drop off in the center at Waxpool and Ashburn Village where IHOP is.
