HOA Question Trash Can Placement Issue

Hello, I have an interesting question to ask. I currently live in a single car garage townhouse off of Hawksbury Terrace. Ive been currently putting my trash cans in the garage but due to how narrow the single car garages are its a bit difficult to park the car in the garage next to the trash cans, have to kind of go in diagonally. I wanted to ask about the rules and options of adding a trash can enclosure just outside the garage door near the brick wall that is the steps of my neighbors house. I understand it would have to look decent if not the same but I was just wondering what my options are. Thanks.

 

I have been on the Modifications Sub-Committee for about 12 years and have never seen an application approved for an enclosure in the front of any home type. If you truly want to explore this option, submit an application and see what the Committee decides. Another possible remedy is if your cans are the larger size, Patriot does offer a smaller, more townhouse friendly option.
