    How about this possibility which has everyone being a bit correct:
    Trucks did move through much quicker than usual because most people did not put out trash.
    Truck may have gone done Avonworth or Dillworth, looked up the short Marburg Ter, didn't see any cans, and moved on.
    This would explain why the truck wasn't heard and why GPS showed they were there, and why the can was missed.
