Tree Rescue May3 and May 4th

    Residents are welcome to dig up trees on the corner of Broadlands Blvd and Educational Ct. where the potential HCA hospital site is located.

    Some of the trees that are easily transplanted will be tagged on the perimeter of the site. For help identifying trees go to the VA Dept of Forestry website and look for the pdf of Common Native Trees .

    Is it only on these 2 days? Will there be other days planned?

    At this time it is only the 2 days. But they have been offering the tree save once or twice a year for the last few years. I don't know of any other planned ones but I would not be surprised if they offer another.
