    Okay...since I don't have any little ones at home anymore, which night should I expect the trick or treaters to show up? :)

    I wish!!!!! I have a feeling that someone has taken him in. But I have 3 other cats whom I've also had for years! :)

    Thank you! :) I'm not going to give up hope. I like to think he's too smart to venture to the road and so beautiful that of course someone would take him in...especially if some kids got a good look at him. I'd rather believe he's being spoiled somewhere else than he came to a sad demise.

    In an aside though, when we looked evenings for Muffin and for the short period that my 3-legged wonder got out (another story but with a happy ending) we were amazed by how many cats are out and about in the neighborhood. I am not kidding...we probably saw at least ten cats each evening out prowling around. That's disconcerting since we also saw a raccoon as well as possum and other critters.
