The schedule for the concrete work that is being done by Fairfax Paving & Concrete, Inc. on Sunstone Court has changed. Concrete repairs will begin tomorrow, Friday, November 20. Please do not park within twenty feet of concrete which has been marked with ORANGE OR BLUE paint. Work on Sunstone will start near the cul-de-sac and areas not finished will wait until after the Thanksgiving break. Any driveway aprons being replaced may not be driven over for a minimum of 72 hours and a maximum of 96 hours upon completion of the work. Please ensure any vehicles parked in the garage or driveway are vacated by 7am on your scheduled day. Work will take place between 7:00am and 5:00pm daily. Work on other streets listed on the schedule is weather dependent and any repairs not finished before the temperature gets too cold will be incorporated into the spring asphalt repair schedule. Please contact the HOA office at 703-729-9704 with any questions.

***WINTER WEATHER TREATMENTS***: Any newly installed concrete sidewalk, apron, curb and gutter, or handicap ramps are subject to scaling and spalling when chemicals are applied for de-icing. Please DO NOT use de-icing salts such as calcium or sodium chloride or other products such as ammonium sulfate or ammonium nitrate. Such chemicals can cause scaling as well as induce severe chemical attack on the concrete surface. Clean sand is recommended for traction if at all possible.
