US Flag Collection and Retirement

    Do you have an old, tattered, torn or faded U.S. flag? A local Boy Scout from Troop 1154 is collecting old flags for his Eagle Scout project. The collected flags will be respectfully retired with the help of the Leesburg VFW Post 1177.

    Flags will be collected at the Broadlands Nature Center. You can also request home pickup by sending an email with the word "Flag" in the subject line to flagcollection@gmail.com . Include your address as well as the number of flags to be picked up. A confirmation email will be sent upon receiving your request.
