We live in SW on Park Brooke Ct and overlook the open area that lies between Ridgeway and Park Brooke ct. VM just had landscapers in this large area planting about 60 trees and bushes. The lanscapers failed to put in support stakes for the 7-10 larger trees and with the deluge of rain about half these trees are now laying almost on their sides. Any ideas who to call? Thanks!

If they were added last week, I suspect that the landscaping crew will be out this week putting in the stakes sometime this week. If this has not been done by Wednesday, or at least started, call Wes Schroeder at the HOA office, he'll contact the VM person who is responsible.

I would rather people call Van Metre directly and not use WES as an answering service/operator for things that are not HOA related.
Van Metre's numbers are readily available in the phone book, their offices are in Ashburn, or someone could stop by a model home to report the problem or get a phone number.

I already sent a note to Van Metre Customer service regarding the trees. I was following up on my note from last week asking why they planted trees in the storm water run off area to begin with. I can see it now - 10 years from now - 30 foot tree, heavy rain, falls onto fences, houses, etc..

My idea was that Wes can talk to VM directly, and get a faster response on things, rather than a homeowner, who gets lost in the shuffle, or gives up while on hold.
