I'll be racing with Staci and Christopher. Go Team SDC!!!

Mark from Bicycle Outfitters in Leesburg will be there as well for mechanical support -- look for the B.O. Team Support Van. Stop by and say HI! Get information about all the latest gear, tri-bikes, wheels, etc.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered and all those who cheered us through the rain. I enjoyed the race and hope it'll be back again next year.

And, Broadlands residents performed superby (especially the ladies). Some racers used Ashburn and some used Broadlands for their address. Many of the Ashburn racers I know are residents, those I don't know I've listed with "(ashburn)" beside them just in case they are Broadlands residents. If anyone knows one way or the other I can update this list.

    Overall Women:
    Stefanie Cunane 2nd
    Susan Winklosky 3rd
    Sonya Brown 5th
    Amy Riggio 7th
    Kathleen Armstrong 10th (ashburn)
    Catherine Lilley 13th (ashburn)
    Barbra McCabe 17th
    Daphne Gillie 20th (ashburn)

    Overall Men:
    Andrew McCabe 11th
    Gary Winklosky 13th
    Micheal Loefflad 14th (ashburn)
    Stefan Mandanis 17th (ashburn)
    Brian Albrecht 18th
    Kevin Hensley 19th (ashburn)

Thanks again volunteers, tri-performance and infinitive.

I had a blast standing in the rain telling all the bikers to turn left from Claiborne onto Broadlands Blvd! Next year I'm racing this bad boy.

    Go for it.

There were a lot more swimmers at the adult lap swims this year and I'm sure it was due to triathlon training. If you can work it into your schedule it's a great (and free) way to get your swimming training in...though I kind of miss having a few lanes to myself.

And, I assume you got to keep the yellow cap (racers got blue ones) and I have to say they are pretty nice.
