John Kerry has a plan on how to win Virginia. No one is quite sure what that plan is, but he has a plan. :)

    Check out http://www.electoral-vote.com

It provides analysis of state poll results and predicts who would win if the election was held today using data from various state polls.

I just came back from poll worker's training. Due to the fact that since the last Federal election, the county went from 35 to 53 voting precincts, some people may turn up at their old polling place not realizing that they have been moved.

According to the Electoral Board, the state has mailed new voter ID cards to anyone whose polling place has changed. If you received a new voter ID card, verify where you are voting.

An online way to be sure of where you should vote is at the State Board of Elections site: http://www.sbe.state.va.us/VotReg/Polling_Place/Polling_Place_Lookup_request.htm.
This will list your polling place based on your street address. It also lists the candidates for offices on your ballot, but does not list the Constitutional Questions, nor the usual Bond Issues.

If you recently registered to vote and have not yet recieved a voter ID card, or if you're not sure if you are registered:

if you have a Virginia DMV online PIN, you can verify your registration status online at: https://www.vipnet.org/voter-lookup/

If you don't have a PIN, you can call the Loudoun Electoral Board at: 703-777-0548
