Wait at Clyde's on Fri/Sat nights

I know you can call and make reservations at Clyde's, but if you were to go without reservations on Friday or Sat (say 7 ish) is there a long wait these days? It's been a long time since we've been there and would like to try it again, but don't always know far in advance what time we can get there.

 

Every time we go there even if we get seated right away, we have found the service is very slow!

I religiously rely on OpenTable.com for Clydes reservations. If you want a table at 7 book for 6.45. There may be a slight wait, given the holiday season is already in full swing - but we rarely wait long. Christmas Eve, however, - forget it.

 

We (family of 4) went this past Saturday around 6pm and we got right in. It was by no means empty, but we did not have to wait. Around 7 I can't say, but there may have been a bit of a wait.
