Any Broadlander's done a LCD TV install over an existing stacked stone fireplace? If so, can you provide the contact information of the person or company who did the install, and your experience with the install? Also, if you would be kind enough to provide a price range for the install, that'd be great?!

    Thanks in advance neighbors!

I'm thinking of doing this and one question that has come up is, where do you put your cable box? I have no shelfing around the fireplace and don't want to build in a shelf above the mantel. Any ideas?

Gregg, you are basically going to have to run the cable in the wall. At least that would look the best. If you can not go through the wall then you could run it along the wall and paint it to match as best you can. You can run a cat6 cable pretty much as far as you need. If you need to run an HDMI cable, then I think the limit is about 50 ft. The you can put you cable box just about anywhere.
