has anyone used these? i don't want to drop $60 on one, but if someone no longer needs theirs, I'll buy used, or if anyone has testimonials about how effective they are or are not, especially for a resilient Jack Russell, I'd love to hear youer experience.

And for those who don't know WHAT I'm referring to- it's a mat that send a light electrical pulse if a pet steps on it to keep them from- whatever- xmas trees, baby crib, etc.

I want to take my Beemer on vacation with us but I'm scared to death he'll get out of my folks house. So- if i put Scat Mats by each door- he won't even try to get out- IF they work...

    thanks in advance all!

    I have one that I don't anticipate needing anymore. It's the 30" x 16" version. Send me a PM if you're interested!

Hi Lisa! Yes- i am interested- how well did it work for you? how old is it and how much do you want for it?

Thanks so much- I hope it works for my dog because i son't take him on vacation if i can't feel that he'll be safe, ya know?

It worked REALLY well for the kitties -- they were quick to realize what the big gray thing could do and would make a wide circle around it. Of course, it would probably be easy for your Jack Russell to just jump over it and bolt out an open door, but it's definitely good as a diversion tactic when the door's closed. You're welcome to take a look at it and even try it out first

You can have mine if I can find it in the basement.
It never worked for us. Dogs are smarter than cats :)
Or maybe they are just more determined to break all of the rules.
