Was anyone's water bill significantly higher this time around? Ours jumped up $50 and I'm wondering if it has to do w/our whole house humidifier or perhaps we have a leaky something or other somewhere.

I noticed the same thing. We also have a humidifier, which about a month or two ago I cranked up the water flow on it. I'm sure it makes a nice contribution to the water bill. You can trying lowering the water flow to your humidifier, but then again winter is about over.

    What's standard?

I just got my first bill, I'm in a TH. For two months of service, it was $70. Seemed reasonable to me.

We usually pay $80-$90 for a SFH for 3 months. Haven't noticed an increase...

wait till summer when you're watering your lawn and they add the premium for high usage months!

FYI - I have a humidifier, too, and our water bill was lower than the last one. However, I'm not sure that I really figured out how to use the humidifier...

You might also be suffering from having to run the water longer to get it hot on those cold winter mornings.

Ours was a huge jump! We have only been here since Sept. and have already paid $245.00 (which may have included a deposit?) for the first 3 mo. and just receieved a bill for $100.00 for the last 3! I think it is very steep.

Our last SFH water/sewer bill was exactly the same as last quarter -- $86.31. The water portion was only $38.61.

Mine was $53 which is typical; in fact, it's within a couple of dollars of the last few bills.
