Does anyone know what the plan is with Waxpool heading out of Broadlands and just before crossing Ashburn Village Blvd? A few months ago, a major dogleg was added to the road and for the life of me I can't figure out how or when this road will be fixed? Is there a plan one can see of future road changes?

    Thanks for any information!

The "dogleg" they installed will be a left turn once they finish Broadlands Blvd/Faulker Pkwy (which is the road that is blocked off right there) Van Metre proffered to complete the Broadlands Blvd portion (about 400 yards need to be paved between the completed sections) but it also involves crossing the creek that runs through there). There is an issue in the area getting part of one of the owners property. At the time it is completed Faulkner/ Broadlands will be 4 lanes all the way through that area. In conjunction, Shellhorn Road is supposed to be closed at the intersection with Ashburn Road (basically meaning the gravel portion will no longer be in use.

Yeah .. the issue is that the owner does not want anything to do with
the widening, nor is he willing to sell that portion of the lot that is needed. Next stop ... eminent domain.

The guy would probably do better selling than having to take what they will give him.
