Web Committee Meeting Tuesday, 11-12-02

The Web Committee will be holding our next monthly meeting on Tuesday, the 12th at 7:30 (7:00 for all new folks and for general chatting) at the Vistors Center. Everyone is welcome! Please come by, we would love to meet you. We will be discussing topics such as:

-Our website, what we are working on now and in the future. This includes things like database development, web graphics, email lists, new sections, posting, updates and formatting of news items (like the Hospital information).

-Community involvement. The Web Committee does more than just maintain our webpage. We recently bought 2 brand new Dell (dude, we just got a Dell! ok, ok no more of that) computers loaded to the brim of some very sweet technology (like 2 Centurion Guard units). These will be placed in the Visitors and Nature Center for all residents to use. Come help us decide what software to put on these and ideas for use in the future.

-What Asher was thinking of in his beta design for the 'Community Pages' section. (inside joke!)

-Broadband. Wired and wireless internet access. Talk about where we stand on getting several types of broadband access into the community.
