Weekend Browse Day Consultant

Van Metre Homes is seeking a Weekend Browse Day Consultant for the Van Metre Homes Design Studio in Aldie, Virginia. The Browse Day Consultant's job is to meet with and assist homebuyers in making their interior selections and help them price out their selections to prepare for their selection appointment. The consultant will work with homebuyers in the selection process of everything from the selection of colors, materials, textures, finishes, and styles to the selection of all options including cabinets, flooring, countertops, plumbing, lighting and appliances. This position requires a friendly and energetic personality, excellent presentation skills, outstanding inter-personal skills, strong work ethic, exceptional listening skills and high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity.


Hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 pm to 4 pm on Sunday.

POSITION AVAILABLE: Weekend Browse Day Consultant

DEPARTMENT: Van Metre Homes Design Studio

REPORTS TO: Design Studio Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced oral communication skills

• Professional appearance to include dress and grooming
(no shorts or jeans)

• Outstanding follow up skills & people skills

• Can-do type individual with a lot of energy and a positive attitude

• Computer experience to include Microsoft Office and automated web base sales system


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Browse Day each weekend

• Assist homebuyers with their interior selections for their new home

• Prepare and e-mail Traffic Report

• Organize and put away samples utilized by customers
