    Century infant car up to 40lbs? That doesn't sound right. No infant seat goes up to that weight. Did you mean convertible seat?

    No I don't want the seat. I just don't want someone who doesn't know much about them to think it's safe up to that weight when it's not!

    That's a good point. Anyone who is looking at a used carseat should read the stickers on the back side for the correct weight capacity, and also can Google the brand and model to find out more info. I'm sure the owner will be able to provide more complete info to anyone who calls about the seat.
