Need Advice What to do with a year HVAC service we won

At a charity event we won a raffle for a free one year maintenance hvac contract. We can't use it since we bought a new system and negotiated free maintenance for the next few years. Ideally I'd like to give this contract to someone struggling with some bills so they can have their equipment serviced for free for this spring and next fall. Any ideas?

 

What a lovely idea! Hmm, maybe you could contact the senior center to see if they are aware of a homeowner in need?

Thanks Laura, I will try them later today. Would hate for the contract to go to waste if someone can use it.

 

You could also try contacting the Parent Liaison at the local schools. They usually know which families at their school are having difficulties. (they wouldn't give you the information but they may be able to act as a go between)

 

You might want to find out first if it's tranferrable. Just in case...

 

There's no name on it - you call to set it up. I don't want to do that until I know what I am doing with it.

 

I like the seniors idea....
