what's going in at belmont/truro parish?

    Its the county park that's been part of the proffer's for Broadlands since the beginning.

    That's funny! Put the park as far away from the homes as you can and put the Hospital right next to the homes!

    Thanks. I thought ball fields were going in there, but that can't be possible since the reservoir is our water supply and because of terrorist threats to beaverdam we're not allowed on the property to see the sun set.

    I thought the fields were put in last year and the grass was "curing" so that they could be used this fall. I was really surprised to the heavy equipment there today.

    I think the heavy equipment is to get the parking area ready.

    Will there be access to the lake at this park or will it be fenced off?

    I doubt there will be access from the park, although there is a trail through there if you look for it. Given that the reservoir is Fairfax city and Loudoun county's primary water supply, they like to keep access to it at a minimum.
