We need to get the cowebs off our bikes and they could use a tune up. The bike shop that used to be by the Sterling Safeway is now gone. Anyone have an alternate suggestion for Ashburn/Sterling without having to drive to Vienna?

There is one on Ashburn Rd, just past the Fire Dept. In a small strip mall with 7-11. I haven't been there, I've just noticed it as I goto the bagel shop.

    sasha_j,
There's a bike shop on Ashburn Road next door to Big Apple Bagels. It's in the old Ashburn area, just north of Partlow's. I've not used the shop, so I can't vouch for their work. There's also a bike shop in Leesburg near the Wendy's. Again, I've only driven by it, so can't say how they do with repairs.

    it's the pedal shop.
just used them last week. $50 for a tuneup - runs like a charm.

I just discovered a bike shop in the new Ashbrook Commons shopping center, where the Harris Teeter is. There's a big one there.

The new bike shop in Ashbrook Commons (near Rt 7 and Ashburn Village Blvd.) is Spokes Etc. They are a great shop. They have other stores in Vienna and Alexandria. The mechanics are excellent. Excellent parts availability and great return policies and follow-up. Nearby there is the Pedal Shop (mentioned above), Bicycle Outfitters in Leesburg, and a medium sized shop over on Sterling Blvd.

Do you know where? The bike shop that used to be right next to the new Safeway is now a furniture store.

If any of you would like to sell me a Madone SL for ~$100, I'll take it! ;)
